Eminent Practitioners

I lead our national medical negligence team, now the largest specialist medical negligence practice in the UK. This is an area of law I’ve worked in exclusively for more than 25 years, and it remains a vocation I care deeply about.
Medical negligence is a complex area of law. It can leave me feeling very sad at times, because behind every case is a person or family who’s been let down. But it’s also incredibly meaningful, and I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else.
Alongside leading a national team of hundreds of lawyers and specialist professionals, I now focus solely on cases involving children with cerebral palsy. These families face extraordinary challenges, and it’s a privilege to work alongside them. There are few clients more inspiring than parents who fight tirelessly to secure the best possible future for their children.
I’m constantly supported by the outstanding lawyers I work with and the specialist services that surround our team. Their expertise, dedication, and teamwork make it possible for us to consistently deliver the comprehensive service that clients deserve at such a critical time in their lives.
I’m not quite sure how I first came to this profession; no one in my family was a lawyer. Somewhere along the way, this work found me. What has kept me doing what I do, without question, are my clients. They remind me every day of what truly matters in life, and why this work must be done with care and compassion.
