I am the Managing Partner for Personal Injury, looking after our Serious Injury, International Serious Injury, and Asbestos and Occupational Diseases teams. I also lead the Serious Injury national team and am based in our London office.

My experience and history of successful claims have seen me listed in the UK’s two largest independent legal guides. I am listed as an Eminent Practitioner in Chambers & Partners’ guide, where I have been ranked for two decades.

I was drawn to the law because I wanted to make a genuine difference to people’s lives across a broad cross‑section of the community. Much of my work in child abuse claims has involved supporting some of the most overlooked, socially excluded, and disadvantaged people in society. I feel a deep responsibility to ensure their voices are heard.

In accident cases, my aim is always to help people return to as full and independent a life as possible. In fatal cases, I work to provide stability and financial security for bereaved families when they need it most.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in a wide range of complex personal injury cases, including brain injury and spinal cord injury, as well as fatal, polytrauma, and amputation claims. I also have extensive experience acting in cases involving deliberate assault and child abuse – matters that require sensitivity and a deep understanding of the lasting traumatic impact.

Leading a team of expert lawyers who are united by a shared commitment to improving the lives of our clients and their families is a huge privilege. The most rewarding moments for me are when we achieve more than just a financial settlement. While appropriate compensation is essential, it is often just one part of what truly matters.

I am at my happiest when we can also put effective rehabilitation in place, secure meaningful support, or even achieve something as powerful as an apology. I strongly believe the claims process can and should be used imaginatively, because real justice is rarely just about money.
