Principal areas of work are banking, finance, international trade, commodities, offshore and general commercial litigation. Before coming to the Bar Liisa spent two and a half years at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she gained experience in the corporate, finance and litigation departments and spent time on secondment to ExxonMobil. Liisa has also been seconded in-house at an international group P&I Club, the General Counsel’s Division of the (then) Financial Services Authority and a leading international law firm.
