Adam Kramer KC is a highly regarded commercial litigator and arbitration advocate specialising in banking and finance, commercial fraud, energy, sale of goods, professional negligence and insurance and reinsurance disputes. He has extensive experience of group/multi-party litigation.

He is frequently instructed in large-scale, high-profile matters, most recently in the Covid-19 business interruption insurance test cases and appeals (FCA test case; Stonegate; London International Exhibition Centre), the Phones 4U alleged collusion dispute, the PIFSS (Kuwait) v Al-Rajaan fraud dispute, s90/s90A securities claims (Glencore, Tesco, RBS), the CIS v IBM exclusion clause appeal, the Tecnimont v Nat West push payment fraud claim, the Lehman waterfall litigation, a $1bn Angolan LCIA energy arbitration, and the VW and other Diesel Emissions group claims.

Adam is an expert in contract damages, being the sole author of leading practitioner text - The Law of Contract Damages (3rd edition published 2022 by Hart/Bloomsbury).
