He is frequently instructed in large-scale, high-profile matters, most recently in the Covid-19 business interruption insurance test cases and appeals (Bath Racecourse; London International Exhibition Centre; Stonegate; FCA test case), the Glencore securities claim, the NOx diesel emissions group claims, and the UCL Covid-19 students’ claim.

Adam is an expert in contract damages, being the sole author of leading practitioner text - The Law of Contract Damages (4th edition published 2025 by Sweet & Maxwell), and sits as arbitrator and deputy High Court judge. He is consistently ranked highly across multiple practice areas in the legal directories and praised for his sharp analytical skills, in-depth knowledge and courtroom style.
