I’m a partner and Regional Head of our Medical Negligence team in the North West, leading colleagues across Manchester and Liverpool who are dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by avoidable medical harm.

Every day, I work with people whose lives have been profoundly changed, often in an instant. I understand that pursuing a claim is rarely just a legal decision – it follows one of the most difficult and emotional periods of a person’s life. My role is to clearly guide clients through that process with sensitivity and determination, while ensuring they secure the answers and support they need.

I’ve spent over two decades acting exclusively for people harmed by medical mistakes. Throughout that time, I have developed a deep understanding of complex clinical issues, but what matters most to me is understanding the person behind the case. I take time to listen carefully and build a claim around their individual needs, priorities and future. My focus is always on achieving an outcome that not only reflects what has happened but genuinely helps my clients rebuild their lives.

I specialise in high-value and complex cases, particularly those involving life-changing injuries and loss. This includes acting for people in cases involving:

Spinal cord injuries

Fatal injuries.

I’m recognised by both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 (two of the UK’s leading independent legal guides) as a leading practitioner in clinical negligence. Chambers highlight my leadership and commitment to my team, and Legal 500 describe me as a “standout litigator”. I am also an accredited member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Panel and a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Over the course of my career, I have secured many millions of pounds in compensation. While those results are significant, what matters most is what they make possible – long-term care, rehabilitation, specialist support and greater independence. My aim is always to put my clients in the strongest possible position for the future.

Alongside my client work, I sit on our National Medical Negligence Executive Board, where I contribute to the development of strategy and best practice across the firm. This ensures that the work we do continues to evolve, but the principle remains the same – to stand alongside those affected by medical mistakes and help them to confidently move forward.
