José Vicente Morote, Managing Partner in Andersen Iberia, has more than 25 years advising several international companies, the national Spanish government and autonomous regions and public bodies on administrative law issues. He is a specialist in public and regulatory law, public procurement and regulated sectors – particularly infrastructure, construction and urbanism – as well as litigation matters related to these areas.
Career
Before joining Andersen, José Vicente was Dean and founder of the Law Faculty of the San Vicente Mártir Catholic University of Valencia. He has a PhD in Law from the University of Bologna and is a qualified General Administration Technician, having sat and passed the corresponding public exam. He has been on leave of absence for the last 18 years. Throughout his career, he has advised numerous companies and public administrations on matters of administrative law and regulated sectors, as well as teaching at various universities and institutions and supervising multiple doctoral theses and academic papers.

He combines his professional work with teaching at various universities, business schools and prestigious forums.
He has a degree in Law from the University of Valencia, where he obtained the First Extraordinary Prize, and from the University of Bologna, where he received the Graduation Prize from the Italian Ministry of Culture. He also obtained a doctorate in Law from the University of Bologna.
