Carlos Peña

Practice Areas

Carlos Peña has extensive experience in advising in the planning, management and execution phases of urban development as well as in the technical leadership in contentious-administrative procedural practice and civil litigation acquiring during his 25 years of professional experience. This allows him to have a transversal approach to real estate projects in any of its phases.

He is an expert in Urban Planning Law and has a deep knowledge of Civil Law, which gives him a broad vision of the processes of urban land transformation, especially in re-parcelling and expropriation projects.

Career

Carlos is a Partner at Andersen in Spain, comanaging the Urban Planning and Real Estate area. Previously, he was a founding partner of Urbe Asesores Jurídicos, a firm specializing in urban and real estate law, since its creation in 2001 until it joined Andersen in 2018.

Member of the Madrid BAR Association, (ICAM). Professor at the Real Estate Business School (REBS) and at the School of Legal Technique.
