José Miguel has 25 years of experience in public procurement, infrastructure, European funds, subsidies, administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings. He is specialised in port regulations, transport and regulated sectors, as well as in Environmental Law, Health and Pharma. He also has extensive experience in e-administration, digitisation and the use of ICT in the Public Sector, advising all levels of the Administration on regulations, electronic procedures and interoperability.
Career
José Miguel López has more than 25 years of experience and is currently a partner in the Public and Regulatory Department of Andersen in the Madrid office. He developed his career at PwC for almost 20 years, joining as a lawyer and rising to the position of Director of the Regulatory Group at PwC Tax & Legal Services. Throughout his career at the firm, he acquired solid experience in advising public and private entities on public procurement, infrastructure, regulated sectors and the digitisation of the public sector.

José Miguel López is the author of various publications in legal publishing houses and the media and has participated as a speaker in organisations such as the IE-PwC Public Sector Innovation Centre, the Institute of Public Administration of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Provincial Council of Biscay, among others.
In the academic field, he is a professor of public procurement at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and of Contentious-Administrative Law at IE Business School.
