Global Chair of Latham's Emerging Companies Practice. Represents both early-stage and growing technology and life sciences companies. Advises private and public companies in the areas of initial- through late-stage seed and venture capital financings, public offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing and securities law.
After West Point, was a US Army intelligence officer. Taught negotiation at Harvard Law School as teaching assistant to Roger Fisher of the Harvard Negotiation Project. Served in the US Army Reserves until 1998.
