Career

Joaquim Pedro Lampreia joined VdA in 2000. He is a Partner in the Tax area, having extensive experience in the taxation of restructuring projects, mergers and acquisitions, collective investment schemes, financial instruments, application of international agreements, implementation and monitoring of transfer pricing projects, taxation of software and information technology related issues, as well as family wealth structuring and private wealth management.

Joaquim is especially dedicated to the resolution of tax disputes and tax litigation in all taxes, fees and contributions, being the lead advisor in some of the largest tax cases before national tax courts, the Court of Justice of the European Union and arbitration courts, having won the European FT Innovative Lawyers Award - Dispute Resolution, 2017.
