Career

Joined VdA in 2001 and is currently partner of the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets practice area. Hugo works on a broad range of equity and debt capital markets transactions, providing advice in the context of takeovers and public offerings of securities, either on a stand-alone basis or under programmes, and in respect of the issue and listing of securities and structured finance products, as well as securitisation and covered bonds transactions and liability managements. Hugo advises domestic and international issuers, offerors, arrangers/dealers and investors. He also provides ongoing assistance with regulatory matters in the fields of banking law and capital markets.
