Nuno Ruiz is Regulatory & Digital Group Senior Partner and Partner of Competition & EU.
As partner of the competition, economic and European Union law practices areas since 2002, Nuno Ruiz coordinated VdA legal advice and litigation in abuse of dominant position cases, cartels and merger control, including the negotiation of commitments and private enforcement. Nuno Ruiz has also been involved in assistance to Portuguese authorities and to undertakings in State aid scrutiny and clearance.
He is an experienced legal adviser in competition law and regulation of network industries (telecommunications, postal services and energy), media, banking and insurance, pharmaceutical and food industries and distribution.
