Managing Associate in the Public, Competition & Health practice group, João Soares Franco has joined VdA in 2009, where he has been exercising his activity in several fields of public law, mainly focused in the areas of public procurement, litigation & arbitration, administrative concessions and regulatory law.

Practicing public law within a business perspective, João Soares Franco has been advising several public entities and private companies, in Portugal and abroad, in sectors such as construction, transport & infrastructure, energy, telecoms or health care.

Alongside this, João Soares Franco has also been focusing his activity in the agribusiness sector where he has been particularly involved, among other areas, in the legal advice to wine companies.
