Head of the Firm's global Energy Practice, Jeff Schlegel has more than 30 years’ experience leading US, international and cross-border M&A, project development and commercial transactions for energy industry participants, particularly in oil and gas, LNG, chemicals/petrochemicals, renewables, and energy-related infrastructure. His experience includes public and private buy-side, sell-side, joint venture, project development and commercial transactions in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry, chemicals/petrochemicals, polymers, resins and catalysts, LNG, renewables and energy transition/decarbonization matters, and other capital intensive industries. His project development experience includes the formation, structuring, governance, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and commercial arrangements for complex and world-scale facilities around the world. Jeff has represented domestic and multinational companies in leading and complex commercial arrangements across most of the of the energy value chain.
