Mario Todino has an extensive experience in EU and Italian competition law, including 15 years in governmental roles with the Italian Competition Authority and DG Competition of the European Commission. Mario's practice focuses on mergers, cartels, abuses of dominance, state aid matters and litigation before both the European agencies and courts as well as in Italy. He regularly advises a number of corporations, including FIAT Chrysler Bank, Imerys, ENI, Banca d’Italia. Mario has in-depth knowledge in a variety of sectors such as medical devices, consumer goods, mining, automotive, pharma, banking/insurance. Mario is coauthor of the textbook La disciplina della concorrenza in Italia, il Mulino, 2019.
