Head of the Firm's global Energy Practice, Jeff Schlegel has 35 years’ experience leading US, international and cross-border M&A, joint venture, project development and commercial transactions for energy industry participants, particularly in oil and gas, energy transition and renewables, LNG, chemicals/petrochemicals, and major energy and non-energy related infrastructure. His M&A experience includes significant US and global public and private buy-side, sell-side, and joint venture transactions in numerous capital-intensive industries. His project development experience includes the formation, structuring, governance, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and commercial arrangements for complex and world-scale facilities around the globe. Jeff has represented domestic and multinational companies in leading and complex commercial arrangements across most of the of the energy value chain.
