Mr. Volkman specializes in the enforcement side of export controls and trade sanctions cases. He has represented numerous clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings by the DOJ, OFAC, BIS, and the DDTC. He has a particularly deep experience as an adviser to financial institutions, institutional investors, and major corporates on these issues in connection with cross-border M&A and capital markets transactions, as well as third party diligence.
