Career
César joined Galicia’s Energy and Project Finance practices in 2018.
He specializes in the power and renewable energy sectors and is an expert on regulatory, transactional and project finance law.
César focuses on advising developers, constructors, operators, GENCOs, suppliers, sponsors, investors and lenders, including ECAs, MLAs and commercial lenders, in power, infrastructure and renewable projects.
César has worked in top talent energy teams at highly respected Mexican law firms and has worked as a senior legal counsel for a multinational renewable energy company. He actively participates as an academic and speaker as well as a member of many associations and committees in the energy sector (ASOLMEX, AMDEE, AIPN, etc.).
He studied his undergraduate degree at Escuela Libre de Derecho (2013) and his master of laws degree in Energy and Natural Resources Law at Queen Mary University of London (2018).
