He is a partner in the Corporate & Financial Services Department focusing on private equity transactions – LBOs, growth and early stage capital investments, equity line arrangements and other complex partnership structures as well as a wide range of M&A projects for portfolio companies. For more than three decades, Bruce has worked closely with diverse sponsor funds focused on investments in industrial, energy, basic manufacturing, distribution and telecommunication sectors. While a majority of his practice involves leveraged buyouts, portfolio company acquisitions, exits and other M&A projects, Bruce also has many years of experience advising fund principals on fund formation projects and individual compensation arrangements. As a native Houstonian with broad private equity relationships dating back to the late 1980s, Bruce is one of the early practitioners in the Texas market to have a full-time practice dedicated to private equity transactions.
