Arturo has extensive experience representing clients in high-stakes arbitrations. This includes advocating for: a joint venture partner in a multibillion-dollar dispute; a multinational energy company in a manufacturing joint venture arbitration; and another multinational in arbitration over the construction of multiple power plants.

Arturo litigates disputes before courts and arbitration tribunals in Latin America, Europe, and the United States under the most widely used institutional rules. Over the course of his career, he has represented owners and contractors in the conventional and renewable energy sectors; joint venture partners pursuing technology and manufacturing projects; commodities trading companies; and players across the entire energy value chain. Arturo is fully fluent in Spanish and English and advocates for his clients in both languages. Arturo is a member of Reed Smith’s Energy & Natural Resources Group.
