Jay Spader has extensive experience representing both borrowers and lenders in a wide variety of complex financing transactions, including significant work drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements and commitment papers.
Recent lending work has included representing CIBC Bank USA, U.S. Bank, KeyBank and True West Capital Partners.
Notable recent borrowing work has included representing Clarion Capital, Encore Consumer Capital, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and Freeport LNG.
Jay is an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Law School, where he teaches a class on leveraged finance. Prior to Brownstein, Jay worked with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison.
