Ana Sofía joined Galicia in 2019 and is an associate in the Civil & Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practices. She focuses on complex commercial disputes in Mexico and abroad.
Ana Sofía has actively worked on resolving numerous disputes, including litigations with domestic and international companies and banks as well as in commercial arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in Immigration and Corporate Law.
Ana Sofía has competed at the Willem C. Vis Moot, a prestigious arbitration competition in Austria, and has contributed to articles published in Global Arbitration Review (GAR). She is a member of several organizations, including Young OGEMID, ICC YAAF, ICDR Y&I and Young ITA. Recently, Ana Sofía was appointed Secretary General of the CAM-CANACO Young Arbitrators Forum.
She obtained her LL.B. from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. She is currently pursuing her LL.M. at Northwestern University.
