Work Highlights

A select list of Ms. Rabia's recent representations includes: the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in its $13 billion plan to redesign John F. Kennedy International Airport; Empire State Development and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in the redevelopment of Penn Station; Moynihan Station Development Corp. and Empire State Development in connection with the redevelopment of the Farley Post Office building into the Moynihan Train Hall; Battery Park City Authority in its lease negotiations with Brookfield Properties for the $1.5 billion extension of Brookfield's ground leases at Brookfield Place, a 14-acre, 9.4 million-square-foot office and retail complex in Lower Manhattan, for an additional 50 years; Shed NYC in the development of New York’s first arts center of its kind; investors in connection with a $4.2 billion financing of industrial properties, a $992 million financing of a portfolio of industrial properties and the acquisition of $1.3 billion of debt facilities; the Qatar Investment Authority in its acquisition of the St. Regis and Park Lane Hotels in New York and a residential development in California; and a sovereign wealth fund in connection with numerous debt workouts.
