Head of Skadden's West Coast Capital Markets practice, Mr. Noel represents U.S. and international issuers, investment banks and financial institutions in public offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions and corporate restructurings. He has extensive experience advising technology companies in corporate financing and other transactions, including advising Affirm Holdings on its $1.3 billion IPO, as well as a range of matters for EMC, Freescale, Hulu, NVIDIA, PayPal, SanDisk, Shopify and SurveyMonkey, Ten-X and Yahoo. He has been widely recognized as one of the country's leading attorneys handling IPOs for special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), advising on many of the largest, most innovative SPAC transactions since at least 2006. Mr. Noel serves as co-head of Skadden's REIT practice. Among numerous other accolades, he was recognized as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in California by the Daily Journal and was named a 2021 Capital Markets Trailblazer by the American Lawyer.
