She specialises exclusively in complex, high value claims with a specialist interest in birth-related injuries to both mother and baby, which include cerebral palsy claims. She also has expertise in cases involving amputation, PVS, subarachnoid haemorrhage and other life threatening, fatal and permanently disabling conditions.

Career

Vanessa obtained a 2:1 Law Degree from the University of Sheffield and went on to obtain a distinction in her Legal Practice Course. Vanessa trained at Boyes Turner, qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and became a Senior Associate in 2014. She has specialised exclusively in medical negligence since 2008.

Vanessa is an accredited member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel. She is also a member of AvMA and APIL.

Vanessa is a keen traveller and trekker and is enjoying opening her children’s eyes to the delights of other cultures and experiences.
