Tania Harrison

I’m a partner in the Medical Negligence team, supporting clients in Sheffield, Nottingham and beyond. I was drawn to a career in law because I wanted to help people through some of the most challenging times in their lives and that is exactly what I’ve been able to do at Irwin Mitchell.

I specialise in clinical negligence claims and inquests. I’ve been helping people affected by negligent medical care since 2005 and over the course of my career I have represented families affected by:

Birth injuries

Cerebral palsy

Brain injuries

Spinal cord injuries

Delayed diagnosis of cancer

Surgical negligence

Fatal medical accidents and inquests.

Many of my cases involve children or vulnerable adults with lifelong care needs, requiring an approach that involves medical experts, therapists, case managers and deputyship teams.
