Sunny started her private practice in King & Wood Mallesons in 2005. From 2009 to 2018, she served as the legal head for Sohu Changyou and EA in Greater China, respectively. Sunny joined Broad & Bright in January 2019, which merged with AnJie in 2022 to form AnJie Broad Law Firm.

Her practice areas cover the full spectrum of legal services in the TMT sector, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance, cybersecurity & data protection, and content licensing, AI compliance, and the digital transformation of traditional industries. With nearly 20 years of experience in TMT field and in-house positions at both domestic and international companies, Sunny has developed a strong ability to understand clients’ business priorities and deliver pragmatic, results-driven legal solutions.

Through Sunny’s work with both domestic and MNCs, she has become one of the more experienced Chinese legal practitioners in the field of cybersecurity, data compliance, and AI-related practice. She regularly provides legal advice on various aspects of Chinese cybersecurity and data protection laws and frequently participates in research on data regulation in the EU, US, and SEA.
