Career
Dr. Zhan Hao is the founder of AnJie Broad Law Firm. He has obtained his PhD, masters and bachelor in law, and finished his post-doctorate research in economy. His competence in both law and economics gives him an edge in counselling on antitrust and insurance issues. Dr. Zhan has over 28 years of experience in all aspects of antitrust/competition and insurance law.
AnJie Broad’s full-service insurance team led by Dr. Zhan is one of the biggest and most influential teams among law firms in China. Dr. Zhan himself is widely recognized for his representative work, which includes litigation and arbitration concerning insurance claims, subrogation and reinsurance, M&A relating to insurance companies, establishment of domestic and foreign insurance organizations in the PRC, utilization of insurance funds, etc.
Also, as a top antitrust/competition lawyer in China, Dr. Zhan’s practice areas include antitrust litigation, antitrust investigations, merger control filings and antitrust compliance, amongst others. For instance, Dr. Zhan represents SAMR in defending against the administrative litigation brought by two pharmaceutical companies heavily penalized by SAMR due to violating AML, which is the first antitrust administrative litigation against SAMR.
