Steve Camahort is a partner in the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. He is also the co-chair of the firm’s San Francisco office. Steve is a Bay Area native with two Physics degrees.

Steve has over 35 years of experience leading M&A transactions and related activism and other corporate governance situations. He has worked for corporate clients, private equity funds, special committees and financial advisors in a full range of transactions (negotiated and hostile, domestic and cross-border, public and private, control and growth, distressed, deSPAC), with an emphasis on the technology, media, REIT and life science sectors. He also does extensive work for the portfolio companies of his financial sponsor clients.
