Steve Marenberg, Chair of Paul Hastings' Entertainment and Media Litigation Group and Chair of the Century City Litigation Group, handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on entertainment-related litigation, intellectual property litigation and antitrust and business tort disputes.

Mr. Marenberg’s clients include some of the nation's leading motion picture studios, television networks, independent production companies, music companies, interactive game companies and entertainers as well as prominent high technology firms. Named to The Hollywood Reporter's “Power Lawyers” list every year since its inception, Mr. Marenberg has also been recognized as one of the country's foremost entertainment litigators by publications including Variety, The Legal 500, Los Angeles Business Journal and the Daily Journal, among others.

Mr. Marenberg continues to score high-profile litigation victories for some of the biggest name clients in the world. For instance, in 2018, he successfully defended Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. against a major industry class action challenging the method and manner in which Warner Bros. (and other studios) accounted for home video royalties to profit participants over the course of several decades.

Mr. Marenberg earned his J.D. from University of Chicago Law School and his B.A. from Wesleyan University.
