Steve’s extensive experience in public finance, highlighted by handling multibillion-dollar bond transactions for entities such as the North Texas Tollway Authority, Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, and Texas Public Finance Authority, makes him a trusted advisor in complex public finance, corporate, and securities matters.
Steve acts as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriters’ counsel on their key public finance matters. In his corporate and securities practice, he advises clients in the merger and acquisition of publicly traded and privately held companies, private equity transactions, and nonprofit representations.
Steve is active in several community, civic, and charitable activities. He served as a trustee of the Dallas Bar Foundation and chair of the Business Law Section, and has held leadership positions or served on the boards of the Dallas Bar Association, The Entrepreneurship Institute of Dallas, First Tee, Harmony Community Development Corporation, J.L. Turner Legal Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
