Sang Pil Lee is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC and his main practice areas include real estate and construction, litigation and arbitration, international transactions, insurance, maritime and shipping, and media.
Mr. Lee has extensive experience advising domestic and foreign construction companies, shipping companies, financial institutions, and public institutions on transactions, litigation, and arbitration relating to construction, international transactions, insurance, transportation, and maritime issues. Successfully represented POSCO Plantec in a lawsuit against Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance and Dongbang Co., Ltd. for compensation and insurance payments after obsolete unloading equipment was damaged during transport.
Successfully represented SK Shipping in a product liability case against KOGAS for defects in LNG carriers' containment systems, causing annual losses exceeding KRW 120 billion.

On September 28, 2020, the Ministry of Justice announced new bills ① proposing the enactment of the Class Action Act that will expand the availability of South Korea’s existing class action suits to all industries concerning any area of law, and ② the amendment of the Commercial Code.
