Chang Hun Han is a partner at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice areas include finance.

Mr. Han built plenty of firsthand experiences in a wide range of financial areas including supervision of business activities of financial companies, settlement of financial disputes, consultation on legal issues regarding financial laws, sanctions on financial companies, administrative litigation, and supervision of sales of financial products under the Act on the Protection of Financial Consumers, etc. for 25 years at the Financial Supervisory Service, a financial regulatory institution. Based on such experiences, he is providing comprehensive and systematic legal advice to the clients.

Mr. Han began his career at the Bank Supervision Department and the Corporate Disclosure Department of the Financial Supervisory Service, and then served as the chief investigator of the Dispute Settlement Department, the head of the Legal Affairs Team, the head of the Special Insurance Team and the Insurance Systems Team under the Insurance Supervision Department, and the head of the Financial Product Sales Monitoring Team under the Financial Consumer Protection Department, etc. During his service at the Financial Supervisory Service, he achieved abundant experiences and knowledge in the overall financial sector including banking, securities, insurance, examination systems, financial dispute settlement and protection of financial consumers, etc. In particular, he has in-depth understanding and expertise in the practical issues of the insurance industry and insurance-related legal issues, etc., as he participated in insurance supervision for a long time, including supervision of sales of insurance products including bancassurance, business activities of insurance companies, insurance products including car insurances and settlement of related disputes, and enactment and amendment of laws on insurance supervision.
