Robert A Profusek

Global chair of Jones Day’s M&A Practice, Bob Profusek is one of the world's leading M&A and corporate governance lawyers. He has worked on hundreds of mergers, acquisitions and buyouts, and financial reorganizations, including dozens of multibillion-dollar transactions. He regularly advises boards and director committees on sensitive corporate governance matters, including hostile proxy contests, shareholder activism, executive compensation and the development of ESG programs. Bob serves as lead independent director of three listed companies and has been named as The American Lawyer's "Dealmaker of the Year" and recognized four times as "Dealmaker of the Month."
