Rob is the Managing Partner of our Cayman Islands office and advises clients on a broad range of corporate transactions and financing transactions.
He acts primarily for lenders on private equity and hedge financings, secured cross-border transactions and financial restructurings. His finance clients include leading international banks and financial institutions, asset management firms and private equity houses.
He also regularly advises major public and private companies on share acquisitions and disposals, joint venture and shareholder arrangements, IPOs and secondary public offerings, and corporate restructurings across a wide range of industry sectors.
Before being admitted as an Attorney at Law in the Cayman Islands and joining Walkers in 2005, Rob worked at Lovells in London (now Hogan Lovells). Here he specialised in secured cross-border leveraged finance transactions. Prior to this, he worked for Barclays Bank PLC for seven years achieving ACIB status.
He qualified as an English Solicitor with Rowe & Maw (now Mayer Brown International LLP), as a banking and commercial litigator.
