Oliver Clifton is a partner in the Insolvency & Dispute Resolution Group in the BVI. He acts in disputes involving ultra-high-value assets, fraud disputes and litigation arising out of Russia, the CIS and Africa.
Oliver specialises in complex cross-border commercial litigation, with particular experience in fraud and asset tracing, as well as "Oligarch" litigation often involving urgent injunction and disclosure applications. He also has extensive experience in obtaining orders in support of foreign Court and arbitration proceedings.
He is an experienced advocate and appears in the BVI Commercial Court, before the ECSC Court of Appeal and the Privy Council.
