John Rogers is managing partner of Walkers' Singapore office.

John specialises in all aspects of finance and corporate matters including general banking, debt capital markets, structured finance, asset and project finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, securitisation, private equity and general corporate transactions. He advises on both British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands law.

John was based in Walkers' Hong Kong office from 2003 and was Head of the Finance group in Asia. He relocated to Singapore in 2009 to open Walkers' Singapore Office.

Career

Prior to joining Walkers, John worked in the asset finance team at Clifford Chance in London before being seconded to a finance team in the Hong Kong office of Clifford Chance in 2001. During his time with Clifford Chance in Hong Kong he spent 8 months on secondment to a major French financial institution in a project finance team.
