Resa Schlossberg leads Skadden's intellectual property and technology transactions practice. She counsels clients across a broad range of industries on complex IP-related matters, with a particular emphasis on life sciences and technology-intensive representations. Her practice encompasses the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of joint ventures, strategic alliances, licenses, mergers and acquisitions, R&D funding, synthetic royalty and a wide variety of commercial agreements, including research and development, collaboration, co-marketing, co-promotion, manufacturing and supply, and consulting arrangements. She also regularly conducts IP diligence and evaluates technologies on behalf of clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology, cosmetic, medical device, and renewable energy sectors, among others.

Ms. Schlossberg earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and her B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
Beyond her transactional practice, Ms. Schlossberg also has experience litigating patent infringement disputes in U.S. federal court, representing clients in false advertising and consumer deception matters, and counseling on a variety of strategic IP issues. She is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
