Broad experience in commercial, environmental, toxic tort, and products litigation: Defense of theft of trade secrets in aerospace industry; defense of national law firm for fraud and malpractice; led internal investigations; defense of publicly traded company and CEO from claims by president of $100 million subsidiary for termination for cause; and defense of majority shareholder in lawsuit by former executive regarding incentive compensation agreement. Served as NCC for target benzene defendant for eight years. Also defended multiple community environmental contamination claims. Representative trials and arbitrations include accounting malpractice; derivative action related to formation of holding company; and breach of fiduciary duty and fraud related to IPO. Also has served as a mediator and arbitrator in commercial litigation matters. Remains a licensed CPA.
