Career
Caitlyn Burchfield is a partner in Butler Snow LLP's public finance group. Caitlyn has over ten years of experience in public and private offerings across the U.S., and she regularly serves as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, disclosure counsel, and lender's counsel. In the past few years, she has successfully closed bond issuances totaling billions of dollars.
Caitlyn also advises clients on revenue-sharing arrangements, tax in-lieu programs, and other economic development incentives.
Caitlyn's work has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America®, the Birmingham Business Journal, The Legal 500 US, and Business Alabama
Professional Memberships
Caitlyn is admitted to both the Mississippi Bar and Alabama Bar, and she is a member of the American Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, and National Association of Bond Lawyers, and Women in Public Finance.
She has served on the Board of Directors of The Rotaract Club of Birmingham (Executive Vice President) and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Junior Patrons (Past President). She currently serves as a Faculty member for the Council of Development Finance Agencies Training Institute.
