Emily F. Magee is a member of Butler Snow’s Public Finance, Tax Incentives and Credit Markets group. Emily focuses her practice on public finance, health care finance and structured lending matters. Emily’s experience in public and healthcare finance includes serving as bond counsel, underwriter’s or purchaser’s counsel, disclosure counsel and borrower’s counsel and trustee’s counsel. Emily often represents national and regional financial institutions and non-bank financial companies in a variety of transactions.
Emily has extensive experience with financings for governmental capital improvements and infrastructure, utilities, airports, seaports, as well as private and public hospitals and other health care facilities, multi-state health systems, housing, senior living facilities, higher education, charter schools and other educational facilities, 501(c)(3) organizations, industrial development, community development and redevelopment. Transaction types include public debt offerings, credit and liquidity facilities, master lease-purchase arrangements, pooled loan programs, commercial paper programs, energy lease financing for guaranteed energy savings contracts, and complex interest rate hedging transactions.
