Pekka Takki

As Of Counsel in Bird & Bird's Commercial group in Helsinki, Pekka is an experienced lawyer specialising in technology, ICT contracts and advisory work.

During a career spanning 30 years, he has acted as a legal adviser to a significant number of companies who focus on technology and ICT. He is also experienced in dispute resolution, both as an attorney and as an arbitrator.

Member of the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle (AIPPI)

Pekka has authored the first two editions, and together with Bird & Bird’s partner Sakari Halonen, the third edition of the leading Finnish textbook on 'IT law, IT Contracts – Practical Guide' (in Finnish 'IT-sopimukset – Käytännön käsikirja', Alma Talent, 2017), which is widely used as a textbook in law faculties of Finnish universities as well as other educational institutions.
