Paul is frequently instructed as a leader, as sole counsel or as a senior junior and has a strong record of success at High Court and appe llate level. Paul has experience in several offshore and foreign jurisdictions, particularly BVI, Bermuda, Jersey and New Zealand. Recent significant cases include DUK v UGX [2025] ECSC J0710-4 (administration ad colligenda bona; derivative claims), Harrington & Charles Trading Co Ltd v Mehta [2022] EWHC 1810 (Ch), [2023] EWHC 307 (Ch) (fraud, shadow directors, freezing injunctions, jurisdiction), Richards v Kulcyzk [2022] EWHC 863 (Ch) (contract, unjust enrichment, service out), K v F (fraud, breach of trust, negligent misstatement), Re X and Y Trusts (Benjamin orders), Kea v Watson [2020] EWHC 472 (Ch) (proprietary injunctions), Watson v Kea [2019] 4 WLR 145 (CA) (interest as a proxy for investment returns).
