Paolo Rusconi is a partner in the firm’s Milan office specialized in debt restructuring deals, M&A, distressed M&A transactions, corporate-related matters, and banking & finance deals, private equity, and extraordinary transactions. He advises clients involved in insolvency or pre-insolvency situations, including pre-bankruptcy agreements, debt restructuring agreements, and out-of-court debt restructuring plans. Clients’ roster include banks, institutional investors, corporations, financial creditors, private equity funds, both Italian and international.
Leveraging his experience and supported by an integrated international platform, Mr. Rusconi is able to advise on the management of relationships with credit institutions, insolvency practitioners, judicial authorities, and in the negotiation among parties. Within insolvency and pre-insolvency procedures, he advises clients in the negotiation of super senior financings and relevant security packages.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, he was a partner in a prominent Italian law firm and practiced with a magic circle law firm in Milan, advising banks, corporations, private equity funds in several transactions, including M&A, finance, restructuring deals.
