Paola Haase

Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Member of the Board of Directors of the Instituto Guatemalteco de Derecho Procesal [an Association conformed and directed exclusively by litigation lawyers and the most renowned Judges and Justices], 2016.

As Director of Dispute Resolution and Litigation practice area at Dentons Muñoz Guatemala, Paola is in charge of leading the litigation and dispute resolution matters, planning the strategy and implementing the actions necessary to achieve a successful arrangement or ruling.

Paola has more than 15 years of experience in Dispute Resolution and Litigation matters. She has successfully advised and led several judicial cases before the Guatemalan Courts and International Courts, such as the Central American Court of Justice. In addition, she is an outstanding lawyer, leading and co-leading cases regarding the oil, mining, and energy sectors and has broad experience in commercial, civil, constitutional, and administrative matters.

Her work has been directly involved in constitutional actions regarding some of the most important investments in Guatemala, leading to many cases in multinational corporations' representation.

She gained extensive experience leading judicial cases before the Guatemalan Courts, analyzing the clients' facts and probatory elements and advising them according to the main goals set for each case or situation.
