Arturo is the Managing Partner for Dentons Muñoz Zacapa in Honduras. Having more than 14 years of experience in the legal industry, he is a key player in the region concerning intellectual property legal services and he is a well-recognized corporate attorney focused on advising multinationals in Honduras.
Prior to the combination with Dentons Muñoz, Arturo served as Co-Managing Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property practice at his family law firm Gustavo Zacapa y Asociados, where he and his team brought great success in positioning the firm as an industry leader in intellectual property law. Precisely in this area, Arturo continues very active and co-leads the practice team about this matter in Honduras. He is a lawyer who stands out for his ability to create unconventional strategies to protect the trademarks of the most renowned clients in the technology industry.
He is also an expert on foreign direct investment in Honduras. Currently, he represents around 20 multinational companies as permanent legal counsel in Honduras and advises them on how to operate or conduct their business on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, Arturo has assisted clients from multiple sectors in a diversity of legal matters in Honduras, relating to banking and finance, government affairs, litigation, real estate, and tax, among others.
