Personal
María del Rosario de Roux is a partner of the firm's office in Panama. Her practice focuses on government contracts, litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, as well as corporate and commercial law.
Throughout her years of practice, María del Rosario has garnered significant experience in public contracting, advising lawyers from multiple jurisdictions, as well as multinational companies in connection with major infrastructure projects across the country.
Prior to joining Dentons Muñoz, María del Rosario ran a successful private practice law firm that provided legal services to international and domestic corporate clients aligned with her expertise, while also providing family office-oriented and GC legal services to local companies.
During her years of practice, she collaborated and helped develop LOVILL´s ADR practice group and received a solid legal formation from Arias, Fabrega & Fabrega (ARIFA). Given her background, María del Rosario understands the needs of businesses from a legal standpoint, providing knowledge, promoting, and helping implement best practices and the rule of law.
María del Rosario earned her law degree in 2009 from Santa María La Antigua Catholic University in Panama with honors (summa cum laude). María has a Master of Laws with distinction from Tulane University and is currently taking an Executive MBA from INCAE.
María del Rosario works with the community by having an active role in Fundación Trenco, a local foundation aimed at positively influencing the environment, education and sports sectors, and is an advocate for the development of women in the legal profession and promotion of diversity.
