Norman advises bank, lessors, insurance companies and private equity funds in connection with the sale, purchase, leasing and financing of aircraft and engines. Norman has particular expertise advising on the acquisition and financing of portfolios of aircraft and on setting-up and structuring aviation related joint ventures. Norman is described by his clients as being “technically exceptional and highly commercial”.
Prior to establishing REN Legal in 2010, Norman and qualified with Hogan Lovells before joining US-based international firm Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walker in 2006, where he was appointed a partner in 2009.
Norman is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading, The Aviation Club of the UK and holds EASA and FAA private pilot licences.
