Charles represents a wide range of clients across a number of industry sectors including insurance, oil & gas, mining, projects and construction, marine, aviation, financial services and retail.

He is a regular speaker and writer on all areas of employment law. Recent articles have appeared in Insurance Day.

Experience

• Several High Court cases, and numerous other queries, concerning breach of restrictive covenants, duty of fidelity and fiduciary duty issues arising on team moves in various industry sectors including running a contempt of court application

• General day to day employment advice (including advice on TUPE, restructuring, redundancies, discrimination, disciplinaries, dismissals, grievances and bonus scheme structuring and disputes) to clients in a number of industry sectors

• Advising on the employment aspects of numerous business transactions across many sectors including several large scale housing and hospital PFI projects

• Advising both employers and employees in relation to unfair and wrongful dismissal, breach of contract, unlawful deduction of wages and discrimination claims
