Anthony's practice includes domestic and international arbitration cases, court proceedings and expert determination and adjudication (including references to DABs). He also advises on various methods of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. Anthony is a trained mediator and is on the list of mediators for the Technology and Construction Solicitors' Association.

He works with numerous barristers, claims consultants and expert witnesses on a wide variety of claims and has routinely deals with disputes under all forms of contract. Anthony also conducts claims on behalf of insurers for professional indemnity and contractor’s all risks insurance policies.

Experience

• Acting for the UK subsidiary of an international energy corporation on a multi-million pound dispute regarding its operation of a UK energy from waste facility

• Advising a contractor on numerous disputes with an employer responsible for refurbishing an ageing UK nuclear power facility and installing a new boiler plant

• Acting for a subsidiary of a major UK plc in connection with a GBP 40 million eight-party dispute arising out of a development of a retail park in Luton, England

• Acting for a large building contractor on a multi-million pound dispute relating to a new cinema complex in the UK

• Advising a client in relation to a multi-million pound dispute concerning a complex of luxury apartments and retail units in Gibraltar, in particular delay, disruption and defects issues

• Successfully resolving a GBP 40 million claim relating to the refurbishment of a hotel development in central London, England

• Advising a Government Road Authority on arbitration claims relating to the construction of a road in East Africa
